Paul Chek has recommended these Swiss Balls. Swiss ball testing program started in 1996 at the University of Newcastle with testing protocols that are considered the best in the world.
Since then Duraball Pro and Maxball have been tested to ensure product consistency and performance. They have variously supported static loads in excess of 4,000 kilograms and were shown to be burst-resistance with loads exceeding 500 kg. This does not mean puncture proof but helps protect you from explosive deflation. The balls are also cyclic tested for durability by loading/unloading 500kg of force in excess of 500 times over a 2 hour period.
The Duraball Pro retains its shape under dynamic loads, maximising the body’s stabilisation process. Core stabilisation using exercise balls, fitballs, therapy balls, gym balls has been promoted physiotherapists and exercise therapists for many years. It is ideal for seating, exercise, rehabilitation and can be used with a duraDisc or medicine ball to gain a more challenging workout. Also improve your posture, reduce back pain and brighten up your office/classroom with our colourful ball chairs.
The Duraball can be used in conjunction with other exercise equipment such as the duraDisc and PhysioRoller to further enhance kinesthetic and proprioceptive feedback.
